Has anyone managed to withdraw money from TCS PF from Mumbai India?
If so, pls advise on the procedure for the same?

No forms would work because like a typical family owned blood sucker company, their PF is controlled by another TATA company and not the central govt. AND to get your hard earned money out of that another company, you need a clearance letter signed by some TCS HR personnel ..
You could see if the amount is worth going through the agony of talking to all BS..ing top brass in the company.. If it is, then make your heart of steel and go through it..
they would keep some money as their tip.. (maybe 20%) but give the remaining back to you..

It is possible that the employer may sue you. But since you would be finding a new job, you can always ask your new employer to give you a sign-on bonus which will be equal to or greater than the expenses demanded by your present employer.

Dear All ,
I recently got my I-140 approved, got our(me and spouse) EAD and AP too.Now what I am wondering is that
1.Am I still on H1 status or the status now becomes EAD ?
2. If my H1 still holds good then should I go back to India to get my fresh H1 stamping as it will expire november next year or should I go for one year H1 extensions(as I heard from friends ) till I get the GC ?
3. Is there any stipulated time limit within which my wife has to apply for her SSN( we have not yet applied for it. )
4. My passport is going to expire on December next year. Do I need to go to India for renewal or it can be done from here itself. If it can be done from here itself then when is the earliest to start that process ?( I will be happy if u could send some links that will guide me ).

My wife is not on AOS status, she's only H4, what I am asking about here, if I used AP would this void her H4? Because as far as I understand, her H4 status will only be void if I used my EAD not AP

You can invest in stocks, mutual funds, real estate or other investment vehicles with no problem and even receive the income from them. The restriction is only with you working, not investing.

Hi,
I am currently in the 6th year of my H1B. My visa is going to expire in at the end of December. Is it too late for me to start applying for the green card? If it is not too late, what is my status going to be after December if I do apply for the green card now? Also, I have heard that I have to apply a year before my visa expires, is it too late now? Please help! Your response is greatly appreciated!
I am from Hong Kong, SAR. I have never applied for labor cert. For the past six years, I have just been on H1B visa.

From what I remember about my talk with the INS doctor: A child is administered the Tetanus shot three times in the first year or year and half after birth. There after, the shot needs to be taken every 10 years. What the doc is referring to could be based on his assumption that you have never had a shot earlier. Our doc said the same thing to my wife (I had immunization records that showed I had shots early in life). However, he also mentioned that the INS almost never follows up, and the remaining shots are "advised" not "enforced".

It's hard to find employers (once again, non consulting ones) who commit to file my GC application again. At best, I get a "we'll gladly transfer your H1-B visa but no commitment on GC" sort of response. Considering a worst case scenario, if I dont have a newly approved PERM by May 2013 and my original PD (July 2008) becomes current, what happens then?

Asuming you dont have an approved labor by 2013, you will not be able to apply for H1b renewal at that point (even if your PD is not current). The only way you can get further extensions is if you have completed the PERM by then or atleast have PERM pending for 365 days. Join somebody now and then look for others who would be willing to do the PERM immediately. I am not sure how long you can stay now since you are basically out of status as of last week.

I am one who missed the 2007 july boat...even though i filed in 2007 (485) my I-140 denied and we lost ead,ap and every thing..
if they give at least EAD my wife can start work..i can also look direct client in this tough situaitons...its very diffucult to get mange in the work with H1b...
please every body share with more information regarding this.

Are you just trying to get people to click somewhere so that it generates ads revenue for you. The links you provided only open up windows that shows ads. I think you are a thug because don't have correct profile here, at the same time you are using some other webiste to track your GC to generate revenue for someone else, and now you are trying to lure people to visit that site. I think your are phony because your ways are suspicious. I will not do what you are saying.
