Dear sir/Madam;
I have worked in my organization for over one year in the US and abrod in the subsidiary for one year. My organization is trying to apply for L-1A (managerial category) visa for me to come back to US again.
How easy is to obtain L-1A through immigration lawyers?
What forms do I need to submit for applying this visa
Our company attorney does not provide complete information, therefore I would appreciate your help on the above.

My Father is applying for Citizenship in Nov 10. If he becomes Citizen then can I file I485 under F3(married sons and daughters of citizen parents). Category and port priority date of May 03 from my employment base I-485 to I-485 under F3?

Unfortunately INA (immigration and naturalization act) does not allow to transfer Employment Based priority dates to Family Based immigration. So no, you can not do it.

USCIS has recently published a new fact sheet of common questions and answers for members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. The fact sheet is worth reading if you are in the Armed Forces because the answers to some of the questions are different (and usually more advantageous) to members and/or dependents of those in the Armed Forces. For instance, if you are a civilian, obtained your green card through a marriage to a U.S. Citizen and you have been married for less than two years, you must file Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=f858d59cb7a5d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCR D&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1 RCRD) to remove the conditional residence and obtain your permanent green card. You must file this form even if you intend on applying for citizenship a year later. (Persons who are married to U.S. citizens may apply for citizenship in three years.)
Members of the armed forces do not have to file Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence to remove conditional residence obtained through a marriage to a U.S. Citizen, if the foreign born spouse was inducted or enlisted in the military and is applying for naturalization based on qualifying military service. I have a question regarding I-485 finger prints. Can I goto local USCIS office for fingerprints without original FP notice. I have a copy of the FP receipt notice sent by my lawyer by e-mail.

thx for ur inputs newbie2020. yes, i know that it is a conditional GC to start with.
my concern was - as far as i know, i cannot work actively for my own business on H-1B. hence i wanted to know if i could continue working on H-1B, apply for GC under EB-5 and then start the business after getting it.

We have in our contract with our strategic counsel that no part of our payment to them, will go to any political fundraisers. This issue was ironed before we even started asking for money. We could not have risked our careers. Our Contributers are also very smart as you are so they made sure they are doing everything withing the boundries of law, as you're doing. It is appreciable!!!

Did you and your attorney both receive the FP notices ? I think one of those copies was returned to USCIS as undeliverable. What they do is they wil check the system for any address change and then put the returend FP notices alogn with the envelope in a new envelope and mail it out again. We had this weird status for few people duingthe Jul 07 rush and that was what it was. Let us know if this is the case..

If you travel abroad when the change is status is pending, the change of status is deemed withdrawn. Pls contact your immigration lawyer, so that he can work with USCIC to get the new I-94 details on the petition.
If the petition was approved before the travel happened, then all that you need to do is to start working and get a visa stamp of H1 when you go out of the country.

I filed i485 after my i140 approved. But my company was sold to an other company. Till my company didn't file i140 amendment.
Can i change job after 180 days of filing i485. Even though my amendment is not filed yet.

Write LSAT and go to Law School and become a lawyer and to start practicing you should get admitted to the bar. The bar requirements vary.
In some states like california , you can work under a attorney for 10 (if not ten say 'n') years and get addmitted to the bar.

You will have to staple the old passport to the newer one and carry both of them at all times. The visas on the previous passport will not be transferred over to the new passport.
